About
Early Stage. Long Vision.
Slade Technologies is a founder-led aerospace and defense company building capable systems at a cost the industry hasn't been willing to pursue. We're in the early stages and we say so plainly.
Development Status
Slade Technologies is a registered defense contractor in the early stages of development. Active systems design is underway and government engagement has begun. We are not yet delivering hardware — but the foundation is in place and the direction is clear.
Mission
To build aerospace and defense systems that perform without the price tag that legacy programs have normalized. Designed domestically. Built in America.
Vision
A defense industry where capable systems aren't reserved for programs with billion-dollar budgets. Slade Technologies is building that case one system at a time.
Company Background
Slade Technologies was founded in April 2026 by Slade Uselton with a straightforward observation — the cost structures that define legacy defense programs are an organizational problem, not an engineering one. In its first month the company secured a CAGE code, completed SAM.gov registration as a contractable defense entity, initiated SBIR research, and began active design work across three platforms. Government outreach is underway. A physical scale model is in fabrication.

Values
What We Stand For
Cost Efficiency by Design
We engineer cost out of systems from the beginning, not after the fact. The cost target is set first. The design works around it.
Startup Speed
Small team, fast decisions, no bureaucratic overhead. The goal is to move faster than the industry expects.
Domestic Manufacturing
Every system Slade builds will be manufactured in America. Supply chain, tooling, and manufacturing partners are all selected around that constraint.
Radical Transparency
We're early stage. We say that clearly here and everywhere else. What we publish reflects where we actually stand.
Roadmap
Development Path
Foundation
Company formation, CAGE code secured, SAM.gov registration, IP development, collaborator agreements, early government engagement initiated.
Design
Systems design underway across three platforms — ST-1 Specter, ST-C1 Uhlan, and Mayfly. Physical scale model in fabrication. SBIR research and government solicitation outreach ongoing.
Prototype
First hardware development. Aerodynamic validation, propulsion selection, and flight test program.
Delivery
Government and commercial program execution. A leaner, faster alternative to legacy contractor delivery.
